Sooo, girls, how do YOU deinfe awkward? Well, I define awkward as going to a party and running in to your ex-boyfriend and his wife. Yeah, this is a situation that is awkward on so many different levels. The awkwardness CAN be overcome if both parties are mature enough to realize that they are happily married and there were no hurt feelings in the past. HOWEVER, if one party happens to be INCREDIBLY immature about the whole thing - then, my dear friends, awkwardness abounds. It gets even worse when one party (me) makes a joke and the other party (my ex) laughs (because of course it is a funny joke!)and the third party (my ex's wife) shoots him a look that could kill and then they excuse themselves! Yeah, it just amazes me that people that are happily married can still live in the past about stuff like this! I've moved on! :) Oh well, Dave and I had lots of laughs about it later! :)

Yeah, I met my old boyfriends mom twice in the past few months. She always said we would get married... oops :-) One of those times was when I was coming out of the Lab for testing... I'll tell you more about that later. Anyway I just wanted to say I kinda know how you feel. :-)

I completely understand. Adrian is here for Seminary, and he is living with one of my good friends, Luke. Well, a bunch of us were over there last friday night just hanging out, playing x-box for the boys etc. Things weren't awkward at first, but then he told me in front of everyone that he told his sister not to kiss her boyfriend for 3 months! All I could think is why are you telling me, of all people in the whole world, and what a hypocrite. Then the icing on the cake was finding out that he told his current girlfriend that I was over at his apartment, and she got all mad and jealous at him! Oh well. I think Jen's the only one who doesn't have to deal with such awkwardness in life:o)
